Have you ever stopped to think about the air around you? It’s literally what’s keeping us alive every day and we so often take it for granted. That being said, clean air doesn’t just happen on its own.
There are thousands of small, minuscule acts that contribute to the air we breathe, good and bad. It’s important for us to be part of the solution, not the problem and one way we can do that is by celebrating National Love A Tree Day.
The Benefits of Clean Air

You see, trees provide oxygen and absorb carbon. Since we as humans inhale oxygen and exhale carbon, which means you could say that trees actually keep us alive. Crazy, right?
The benefits of clean air for human beings (and animals) are endless. Clean air can help obvious things like decrease allergy and asthma symptoms, but it can also contribute to improved digestion. Let me break it down for you.
Clean, fresh oxygen is needed in order for the muscles of the digestive tract to function properly. If they are functioning properly, food can be broken down easily and can move throughout your digestive system with fewer issues. Who would have guessed that?
The Importance Your HVAC System

That being said, without clean air, we will get sicker faster and our environment will continue to suffer. In March of 2015, we reached an unsafe level of carbon in our atmosphere and it’s up to us to ensure that never happens again.
Although it’s important to regulate our outdoor air quality, it’s equally important to ensure the good air quality in our homes and businesses. That’s where having a properly functioning HVAC system should be a non-negotiable. We may think pollutants don’t affect us as much indoors, but actually air quality is typically two to five times worse inside.
Celebrating National Love A Tree Day

If each one of us committed to planting a tree, we could help combat climate change, conserve energy, prevent soil erosion, save water and of course, clean the air.
All of these environmental factors are affected by trees. If planting a tree isn’t in the cards for you, fill up a bucket of water, pick your favorite neighborhood or local park and water the trees already living. Keeping trees alive is just as important as planting new ones.
In addition to living in a world (and home) with clean air, we want you to be safe. With that said, if you find yourself in need of help with your HVAC system, please call Albritton Service Co at (318) 251-0885.
We want to make sure that your system is working perfectly for you and your family, providing the best air possible. And in the meantime, we encourage you to join us as we celebrate National Love A Tree Day (otherwise known as National Clean Air Day).
